Step 2: Triggering the Freeze Capture (CC 35)
On step 12 (the final bar turnaround), we send a **Freeze Engage** message (MIDI CC 35 = 127).
The pedal immediately locks its internal feedback loop, freezing the incoming audio buffer of note C4 into a continuous, infinite ambient drone that sustains forever without clipping.
Step 3: 100% Wet Crossfade for Section Drops (CC 11)
Along with Freeze, we ramp **Reverb Mix** (CC 11) to **127 (100% Wet)** on steps 13 through 16.
This completely masks any dry note-off transients and leaves a lush, floating harmonic bed ready for you to introduce a new bassline or drum groove.
