The Arturia MicroBrute is a compact analog monophonic synthesizer featuring a Steiner-Parker filter, multi-wave oscillator with shape modulators, and a mini patch bay. NOTE: Voice parameters are physical only and do not respond to MIDI CC.
đĄ How to configure the Arturia MicroBrute MIDI Editorâŧ
To control your Arturia MicroBrute from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.
Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected MicroBrute device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

đ¨ Sequencer Sync & Clock Quirks
If the sequencer is not starting or runs at double-speed, connect to the MIDI Control Center (MCC) utility and check the 'Sync' parameter. Switch between Internal, USB, or MIDI depending on your master clock setup.
đ¨ Interrupted Update (Unresponsive / Brick)
If a firmware update fails, hold down both the Octave Up and Octave Down buttons while turning on the power switch. This forces the synthesizer into Bootloader Mode, allowing you to re-flash the firmware through MCC.
