The Arturia MiniBrute 2 is a semi-modular monophonic analog synthesizer featuring dual oscillators, a Steiner-Parker filter, and a massive 48-point CV/Gate patchbay. NOTE: Synth voice parameters are physical only and do not transmit or receive MIDI CC.

💡 How to configure the Arturia MiniBrute 2 MIDI Editorâ–ŧ

To control your Arturia MiniBrute 2 from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.

Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected MiniBrute 2 device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.

Virtual MIDI Controller

Tweak controls to generate and route MIDI CC packages.

🔌

Voice parameters are physical-only. Document, recall, and share physical patch cable configurations and usage notes in the Preset Hub on the right!

â„šī¸ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

MIDI Troubleshooting

🚨 High-pitched noise or hum when using USB

This is a common USB ground loop. Power the MiniBrute 2 using its official DC power adapter. If USB connectivity to a computer is required, use a USB isolator or run standard 5-pin DIN MIDI cables instead.

🚨 Sequencer or Arp does not play when hitting keys

The sync clock source might be set to an external input without receiving clock. Open the Arturia MIDI Control Center (MCC), check the 'Sync' clock configuration, and switch it to 'Internal' for standalone play.
