MiniBrute 2S
The Arturia MiniBrute 2S is a semi-modular monophonic analog synthesizer that replaces the keyboard with a powerful 64-step triple-track sequencer, 16 velocity-sensitive pads, and a 48-point CV/Gate patchbay. NOTE: Synth voice parameters are physical only and do not respond to MIDI CC.
đĄ How to configure the Arturia MiniBrute 2S MIDI Editorâŧ
To control your Arturia MiniBrute 2S from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.
Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected MiniBrute 2S device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.
Virtual MIDI Controller
Tweak controls to generate and route MIDI CC packages.
Voice parameters are physical-only. Document, recall, and share physical patch cable configurations and usage notes in the Preset Hub on the right!
MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

MIDI Troubleshooting
đ¨ Syncing the 2S step sequencer to an external master clock
Set the SYNC button on the top panel of the MiniBrute 2S to match your input source (USB or MIDI). If you are driving the sequencer from closeby.one or a DAW, make sure your MIDI interface is configured to transmit MIDI Clock messages.
đ¨ High-pitched noise or hum when using USB
This is typically caused by a USB ground loop. Power the MiniBrute 2S using its official DC power adapter. If USB connection to a computer is required, use a USB isolator or run standard 5-pin DIN MIDI cables instead.
