To connect your Behringer Crave to your web browser, connect your synth using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.

Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected Crave device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). ℹ️ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

MIDI Troubleshooting

🚨 Sequencer will not play or start when pressing Play

If the Crave is set to an external MIDI clock source and no clock signal is being received from your DAW or browser, the sequencer will wait indefinitely. In the SynthTool software, check the 'Clock Source' setting and switch between 'Auto', 'Internal', or 'MIDI'.

🚨 Setting MIDI receive channel on the Crave

Use the 4 DIP switches on the rear panel to select channels 1 through 16, or connect via USB and assign the channel through the Behringer SynthTool.

🚨 Enabling High-Pass filter mode

Toggle the VCF MODE switch located right next to the Resonance knob from 'LP' (Low Pass) to 'HP' (High Pass) for thin, cutting leads and filtered percussion.
