ℹ️ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

🚨 Installing custom third-party User oscillators and effects

Use the free Korg Minilogue XD Sound Librarian software over USB. Drag and drop .mnlgxdunit files into open user slots 1–16, then click 'Send All' to flash the DSP algorithms to internal flash memory.

🚨 Korg USB-MIDI Driver device limit on Windows

If the Minilogue XD does not show up as a MIDI device in Chrome or your DAW on Windows, run the KORG USB-MIDI Driver Uninstall utility, remove unneeded USB devices from slots 1–9, and reconnect the Minilogue XD so it occupies a slot under 10.

🚨 Bypassing internal sequencer to play via Web MIDI

When sequencing from closeby.one, ensure the onboard sequencer is stopped so step motion parameters do not override incoming Web MIDI CC messages.
