The Moog Minitaur is a compact and powerful analog bass synthesizer featuring a classic one-knob-per-function interface and a pure analog signal path.

💡 How to configure the Moog Minitaur MIDI Editorâ–ŧ

To control your Moog Minitaur from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.

Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected Minitaur device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.

â„šī¸ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

MIDI Troubleshooting

🚨 Sliders don't update when turning physical knobs

Go to Minitaur Editor settings and ensure 'MIDI CC Send' is enabled. By default, the Minitaur only receives MIDI CC but does not send it unless configured.

🚨 Note hang / stuck notes

Send a MIDI Panic command or power-cycle the unit. Ensure that your sequencer track does not duplicate note-on messages on MIDI channel 1.
