The Roland Boutique JU-06A is a compact recreation of the legendary Juno-60 and Juno-106 analog synthesizers, packing classic chorus, arpeggiator, and chord memory.

💡 How to configure the Roland JU-06A MIDI Editorâ–ŧ

To control your Roland JU-06A from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.

Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected JU-06A device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.

â„šī¸ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

Firmware & Help Reference

Firmware Version Details

Latest Stable:v1.02

Update v1.02. Connect via USB-B to your computer. Drag and drop the downloaded system update files directly onto the mounted 'JU-06A' folder, then safely eject the drive before booting.

MIDI Troubleshooting

🚨 Check Current Firmware Version

With the USB cable disconnected, hold down the 'BANK 4 (8)' button while switching on the power. The screen will display the current system program version.

🚨 USB Ground Loop Noise / High Pitch Whine

Boutique units often suffer from USB ground loop hum when connected to a computer. Power the unit using 4 AA batteries instead of USB power, or insert a USB ground loop isolator between the unit and your machine.
