Strymon NightSky is a time-warped reverberator and audio processing workstation featuring analog-buffered dry path, pitch shifting, modulation, an onboard 8-step sequencer, and complete MIDI CC and Program Change implementation.

💡 How to configure the Strymon NightSky MIDI Editorâ–ŧ

To control your Strymon NightSky from your web browser, connect your synth to your computer using a USB cable or a dedicated USB-to-MIDI interface.

Open the MIDI Settings panel above, set the Output Port to your connected NightSky device, and select the correct MIDI channel (default is channel 1). Once configured, you can map the MIDI CC layout sliders, draw automated parameter curves, and edit patches in real-time without installing any software.

Virtual MIDI Controller

Tweak controls to generate and route MIDI CC packages.

â„šī¸ How MIDI CC Sync Works

MIDI CC is a one-way push protocol. Synthesizers cannot be queried dynamically to read their current parameter values. To synchronize these sliders, select your synthesizer's MIDI Input Port above. When you physically tweak knobs on your synth, the slider positions will instantly update on-screen to match.

Latest Stable:v1.20

Firmware update adds MIDI connectivity stability and USB-C audio/MIDI synchronization improvements.

MIDI Troubleshooting

🚨 Pedal does not respond to MIDI messages

Ensure the MIDI Channel (default 1) matches your track settings. Hold the INFINITE footswitch at power-up and turn the SPEED knob to change the MIDI channel. Make sure the EXP jack is set to MIDI mode by holding INFINITE at power-up and turning the REVERB knob until the INFINITE LED is blue.

🚨 MIDI CC parameter updates are not sent back to sequencer

Hold the INFINITE footswitch at power-up and press PRESET BUTTON 4. The LED should turn Green (Send MIDI CC On). If it is Red, CC output is disabled.
